PITTSBURGH -- Point Park men's lacrosse is set to close its inaugural season on Tuesday with a matchup against Lake Erie. Opening faceoff for the G-MAC matchup is slated for 5 p.m.

The Pioneers (3-9, 3-6 G-MAC) fell to Thomas More on Friday 18-7 to end a two-game winning streak. Tigran Ceesay, Grant Huber and Parker Bowersox all scored braces for the Pioneers, with Braydan Stearns also tallying. Sawyer Leko's two assists led Point Park, and Ceesay, Alec Batchelor, Ian George and Logan Foy all notched assists.Â

Leko's six ground balls led the team with Foy and Kaden Brown both adding four. Connor Boyle recorded 16 saves in the contest, which ties Mario Lorenson's total against Malone on Feb. 20 for the most by a Pioneer in a single game.Â

Lake Erie (3-10, 3-6 G-MAC) has beaten Malone and Tiffin in its last two games, picking up 14-11 and 13-6 wins. The Storm snapped a five-game losing skid with their latest wins, and they recorded a goal differential of -24 over the five losses. Lake Erie is 2-4 on the road this season.Â
