CANTON, Ohio -- Point Park men's lacrosse dropped its G-MAC matchup against Walsh on Tuesday 19-13 at Larry Staudt Field. The Pioneers dropped to 1-4 (1-2 GMAC) on the season with the defeat.

Five Pioneers scored goals on Tuesday, highlighted by Tigran Ceesay's five-goal game. Ceesay also recorded an assist to end the night with 6 points. Ceesay's goals and points are both the most Pioneer in a single game this season.

Braydan Stearns tallied four goals in the contest. Sawyer Leko added a brace and Grant Huber and Zak Marshall both scored. Leko notched an assist in PPU's contest, as did Alec Batchelor, Xavier Williams and Parker Bowersox.

Walsh (2-5, 1-1 GMAC) came out of the gate to a 8-3 lead after the first quarter. The Cavaliers scored four consecutive goals on two separate runs in the opening frame. A 5-3 second quarter in Walsh's favor left Point Park down 13-6 at the break.

The Pioneers would go on a 6-2 run in the fourth quarter, in which they scored four unanswered goals over a stretch of 30 seconds. Leko (assisted by Williams), Marshall, Stearns and Ceesay all scored on the given run.

Holton Marshall led the Cavaliers with four goals. Toby Olynyk scored a hat trick and Case Myers, Parker Stanway and Garrett Kessling all scored twice for Walsh.
