PHILADELPHIA -- Point Park men's lacrosse fell to Post on Wednesday 13-8 at the University of Pennsylvania. The Pioneers are now 1-5 (1-2 G-MAC) on the season.

Post scored six goals in the third quarter to give it the edge. The Eagles scored seven goals in a row going back to the end of the first half.

Point Park featured five goalscorers. Parker Bowersox scored a hat trick for the Pioneers, and his 3 points led the team. Jordan Gales scored a brace and led PPU in shots and shots on goal with seven and four respectively. Zak Marshall, Braydan Stearns and Sawyer Leko all tallied on Wednesday.

Marshall was one of three Pioneers with an assist, being joined by Xavier Williams and Ian George. Marshall's three shots on goal were second on the team, and he tied with Bowersox for second with six shots.

Point Park fell behind 3-0 early, but goals from Marshall and Bowersox in the last two minutes of the opening frame made it 3-2. Stearns and Gales both tallied in the second, but a last-second goal for Post made it 6-4 Eagles at halftime.

Post recorded a 6-0 run in the third quarter. Bowersox scored two goals over a 91-second period in the fourth, with Leko and Gales both tallying to end the game 13-8.

Having wrapped up non-conference play, the Pioneers will take on Northwood in G-MAC play on Friday, Mar. 27, in what will be the team's first home game in a month. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Highmark Stadium.
