PITTSBURGH -- Point Park men's lacrosse fell to Northwood on Friday night in a 25-10 decision at Highmark Stadium. The Pioneers are now 1-6 (1-3 G-MAC) in their inaugural season.

Grant Huber led Point Park in goals and points, scoring a hat trick and tallying 4 points on the night. Huber was one of six Pioneers to dent the twine with Tigran Ceesay and Zak Marshall both scoring braces and Isaiah Serrano, Sawyer Leko and Parker Bowersox all scoring.Â

Ian George's two assists paced the Pioneers, and Leko, Logan Foy, Taylor Horn and Huber all recorded assists.Â

Northwood (7-2, 5-0 G-MAC) hopped out to a quick start, scoring the first four goals. The Timberwolves took a 13-6 lead into the half. Northwood scored 12 unanswered goals ranging from 1:39 in the second quarter to 12:24 in the fourth.Â

MacKennan Tognetti and Andrew Rogers both scored five goals on Friday, with Rogers posting a game-high six assists. Rogers' 11 points also led the game. Easton Beukema posted a .474 save percentage for the Timberwolves.

Point Park travels to Wheeling for Wednesday-night action. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The Pioneers return home on Apr. 8 against Seton Hill.
