DAVENPORT, Mi.-- Point Park men's lacrosse will play its first-ever road game on Saturday against Davenport. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Pioneers (1-2, 1-0 GMAC) dropped their last game last Saturday to Holy Family 13-7. Braydan Stearns scored a brace for PPU. Stearns' 2 points tied for the team lead with Grant Huber, who recorded a goal and an assist. Sawyer Leko, Nolan Heikamp, Alec Batchelor and Parker Bowersox all scored for Point Park. Goalkeeper Mario Lorensen posted a season high with his 10 ground balls and recorded 15 saves - one shy of his season high.

Davenport (2-2, 1-0 GMAC) enters off a 17-6 win over GMAC-opponent Wheeling. The Panthers' two losses this season have both come against nationally ranked teams, losing to No. 4 Maryville and No. 11 Lewis. 

STORYLINES

• Grant Huber's 2.67 goals per game leads the team and ranks sixth in the GMAC. His 3.33 points per game is sixth in the conference.

• Sawyer Leko sits in ninth place in the GMAC in shots per game with 6.67. Leko's four shots on goal per game rank second on the team, trailing Parker Bowersox's 4.33.

• Goalkeeper Mario Lorenson ranks fourth in the GMAC with his 11.33 goals against average. Lorenson also ranks seventh in the conference in saves per game, averaging 12.67. His 8.33 ground balls per game is good for second in the conference.

• Tigran Ceesay and Logan Foy are tied for the fifth-most ground balls per game in the GMAC at 5.33.

• Parker Bowersox is the GMAC's fifth-best faceoff man, with a win percentage of 62.5%. 

• Kaden Brown leads the GMAC in caused turnovers per game, sitting at 3.33.
