BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Point Park's Trevor Jones was named to the MEC Baseball All-Tournament Team the conference announced, Monday.

Jones, a junior from St. Petersburg, Fla., batted .500 (5-for-10) over the Pioneers' three games and tallied five RBIs with his two runs scored, including a home run against Frostburg State.Â

Jones' best work came in Point Park's win over Concord, in which he roped an RBI double to right center in the eighth inning and drove in the winning run with his single to right field in the ninth.Â

Jones capped off a successful junior season with the award. He was named MEC Player of the Week on Apr. 13, and he ranks second on the team in average (.290) and third in RBIs (32). Jones' 49 hits and six home runs both tied with Chris Williams for third on the team.
