PITTSBURGH – Point Park will play its third-straight road game with a short trip to West Liberty on Saturday afternoon in Mountain East Conference action at the ASRC. Tip time is set for 2 p.m.
The Pioneers enter the game with a record of 2-2 and will be looking to get back in the win column after a 2-0 start to the season. West Liberty enters the game with a record of 3-3.
Storylines
- Point Park dropped a 67-53 final to Wheeling in Wednesday's Mountain East Conference opener on the road. The Pioneers led by three at the half before the Cardinals rallied to the win.
- In Wednesday's game, Point Park's Camille Fultz reached the 1,000 point mark for her collegiate career. Fultz scored 16 points in the win over Wheeling.
- The Pioneers also got 11 points and 11 rebounds from Elizabeth Boyd. IT was her third double-double of the season.
- Fultz is leading Point Park in scoring third season, averaging 13.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per outing. Boyd is second on the team in scoring averaging 12.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.
- Fatim Sarr Ndow and Kamryn Pieper are leading the Pioneers in the paint this season. Sarr Ndow is averaging 5.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, while Pieper is chipping in 3.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
- Point Park will play one more road game on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at West Virginia Wesleyan, before returning home to host Davis & Elkins next Saturday at CCAC.
