PITTSBURGH – The Point Park baseball team will host Wheeling in a four-game series at Point Park Field on Friday and Sunday afternoon. Friday's doubleheader will begin at 12:00 p.m. and Sunday's first pitch will be at 1:00 p.m. On Sunday Point Park baseball will honor their nine seniors in a ceremony before the game.

Point Park Baseball Season Notebook

• The Pioneers notched their 30^th win of the season with a big 12-4 win over Seton Hill on Wednesday afternoon. Point Park is 30-11 on the season and has a 18-6 record in league play.
• Point Park is currently on a five-game win streak going into this weekend's contests. At home the Pioneers are 6-2 on the season.
• Against Seton Hill the Pioneers pounded out 12 hits including a Jared Campbell home run for his 13^th of the season which is tied for first in the MEC. Logan Creamer registered his first win of the season going 2.0 innings giving up one run on one hit while striking out three.
• Point Park is hitting .311 on the season which is second best in the MEC behind Concord who is hitting .329. The Pioneers have 386 hits on the season with 88 doubles, seven triples, and 48 home runs.
• As a staff, the Pioneers pitchers are second best in the MEC with a 5.02 ERA. Harold Boyce (4-2) and Javier Cardoso II (6-3) are having great seasons for the Pioneers. Boyce currently has a 3.89 ERA in 44.0 innings pitched while Cardoso II has a 3.94 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP.
