PITTSBURGH – The Point Park volleyball team will continue Mountain East Conference play as the Pioneers travel to Frostburg State on Tuesday night to take on the Bobcats at Bobcat Arena. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Storylines

• The Pioneers started league play 1-0 after getting a 3-0 sweep over Davis & Elkins on the road last Friday. Point Park currently sits at 2-9 with the Pioneers other win coming in the UC/WVSU Volleyball Crossover where Point Park swept Roberts Wesleyan.
• Against Davis & Elkins, Point Park recorded a .206 hitting percentage in the match with 36 kills and just 14 errors on 107 total attacks. Nicole Reasbeck led the Pioneers with 9 kills, six digs and six block assists in the win.
• Last year the Pioneers faced off with Frostburg State three times with the Bobcats taking two out of the three matches. Point Park and Frostburg State first met at the Vulcan Invitational where the Bobcats came out with a 3-2 win in a five-set thriller. Point Park took the next match back home in Pittsburgh winning 3-1 before Frostburg State won 3-0 on their home court in late October.
• Setter Marianna Oyola-Rivera remains ranked top 10 in assists in the league, averaging 7.58 per game and has recorded 273 on the season in 36 sets played. Oyola-Rivera has three games on the season with 30+ assists with a season high 49 during Point Park's matchup with California (Pa.).
• Nicole Reasbeck broke 100 kills on the season with her nine in the matchup against the Bobcats. Reasbeck, a transfer, has provided the Pioneers with support all around with 106 kills, 79 digs, 20 assists, and 17 blocks on the season.
