PITTSBURGH - Point Park men's basketball looks to continue its winning ways on Friday against West Virginia Wesleyan in MEC play at CCAC-Allegheny. Opening tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
The Pioneers (4-12, 2-9 MEC) enter on the back of a 101-89 victory over Salem - the team's first double-digit win since Dec. 16. PPU knocked down 17 shots from beyond the arch in their win and featured three double-digit scorers in Grant Welch (22 points), Greg Williams (18) and Kaden Warner (16).Â
Wesleyan (1-16, 1-10 MEC) enters on a two-game skid after earning its first victory of the season on Jan. 17 against West Virginia State. WVWC has not won a road game in Jan. 29, 2025.

Point Park leads the all-time series 2-1 since entering the MEC in 2024. The two teams split last year, with the home team winning each matchup. Point Park won the last matchup 90-66 in December.

Aidan Anderson leads the Pioneers in scoring at 17.4 points per game, which is tied for fourth in the MEC. He also tops the team in rebounding, averaging 5 per game.
