CANTON, Ohio -- Point Park women's lacrosse will hit the road for the first time on Wednesday to take on Malone. Opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m. from Pioneer Park.
Point Park (1-0, 0-0 MEC) picked up its first win in program history on Saturday night, dismantling Ursuline 21-2 in the team's opening game. Point Park featured 10 goalscorers on Saturday.
Tessa Hueber led the Pioneers with four goals and four assists for a team-high 8 points. Hueber also tallied a game-high six shots and tied for the team lead with four shots on goal. Andrea Kinger ended the night with 6 points, posting three goals and three assists.
Hueber and Kinger were two of five Pioneers to score a hat trick against Ursuline. They were joined by Kiley Leasure, Emma Diaz and Gracie Favela.
Malone (2-0. 0-0 G-MAC) also enters on the backs of a 21-2 win. The MU Pioneers won both of their opening games on the road, posting an average margin of victory of 15.5 goals.
