BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Four Pioneers received MEC Women's Lacrosse postseason honors, highlighted by Andrea Kinger being named to the All-MEC Second Team and All-Freshman team. Kiley Leasure joined Kinger on the All-Freshman team. Taylor Desko and Ava Miller were named All-MEC Honorable Mentions.

Kinger, a native of Beaver County, Pa., was second in the MEC in goals per game (3.13), points per game (4.87) and shots per game (7.07). Her 1.73 assists per game were good for fifth place across the conference. Additionally, Kinger was sixth in the conference in ground balls per game at 2.67 and averaged 2.73 draw controls per game - good for 10th best in the MEC.

Kinger was named MEC Player of the Week on both Mar. 2 and Mar. 30. 

Kiley Leasure tallied 34 goals and 45 points over her 16 games - good for 2.13 goals and 2.81 points per game, just missing the top 10 in the conference in both stats. Leasure averaged 5.4 shots per game, which ranked eighth in the MEC. 

Taylor Desko, who was an All-MEC Honorable Mention at midfield, led the conference in ground balls per game (5.0), was fifth in caused turnovers per game (1.93) and eighth in draw controls per game (2.93). Desko tallied a whopping 70 ground balls over the season, despite only playing 14 games. 

Ava Miller was named All-MEC Honorable Mention at defense, tallied 5 points over the season. Miller, a native of Canonsburg, Pa., scooped up 31 ground balls over the season, which led all Pioneer defenders.
