PITTSBURGH -- Point Park men's lacrosse fell to No. 4 Seton Hill on Wednesday 23-4 at Highmark Stadium. The Pioneers fell to 1-8 (1-5 G-MAC) on the season with the result.
In its first matchup against a ranked opponent, Point Park started the game strong with Grant Huber scoring after 19 seconds of action. Huber, who led Point Park with two goals, was one of three Pioneers to score in the first quarter.
Seton Hill (10-2, 7-0 G-MAC) tied the game with 10:24 left in the first, but Tigran Ceesay scored at 9:47 to give Point Park the lead. The Griffins scored two in a row before Ian George tallied with 3:32 left in the opening frame to force a 3-3 tie.
Seton Hill would go on to score 18 unanswered goals before Huber tallied with 6:27 remaining in the game for Point Park. Xavier Williams recorded an assist on Huber's second goal. Williams and George were the only Pioneers to tally assists on Wednesday.
Huber led the Pioneers with six shots and tied with Ceesay and Sawyer Leko for the team high in shots on goal with three. Connor Boyle led PPU with eight ground balls. Parker Bowersox and Kaden Brown tied for second most on the squad with both boasting six.
Nate Herbster and Landon Danes each posted 5 points, tying for the game high. Herbster's four goals led the game.

Point Park returns to action on Saturday against Tiffin. Opening draw is scheduled for noon. Point Park will travel to Tiffin and Davis & Elkins before ending the season with home matchups against Thomas More (Apr. 17) and Lake Erie (Apr. 21).
