PITTSBURGH -- Point Park men's lacrosse will host Seton Hill on Wednesday for a G-MAC matchup. Opening faceoff is slated for 7 p.m. from Highmark Stadium.

Point Park suffered a 15-5 defeat to Wheeling last Wednesday. Braydan Stearns led the Pioneers (1-7, 1-4 G-MAC) with two goals, and Tigran Ceesay, Grant Huber and Logan Foy all tallied. Sawyer Leko and Alec Batchelor both added assists. 

Seton Hill (9-2, 6-0 G-MAC) enters as winners of four straight with a combined goal differential of +83 over the stretch. The Griffins' two losses have come against No. 1 Adelphi (10-3) and No. 11 Pace (12-10). SHU opened the season with a 11-7 win over No. 10 Lewis. 

STORYLINES

• Grant Huber leads the Pioneers with 13 goals and 16 points on the season. Parker Bowersox is second on the team with 11goals and 14 points. Bowersox is tied with Tigran Ceesay and Sawyer Leko for the second-most points on the team.

• Tigran Ceesay is the third Pioneer to boast double-digit goals on the season, having scored 10. He sits just above Braydan Stearns (9) and Sawyer Leko (8). 

• Goalkeeper Mario Lorenson ranks sixth in the G-MAC in saves per game at 11.0 per contest. 

• Logan Foy is averaging 5.43 ground balls per game, good for third best in the G-MAC.

• Xavier Layzell is 10th in the conference in caused turnovers per game at 1.5.

• Point Park is second in the G-MAC in ground balls per game at 36.71. The Pioneers are fourth in the conference in caused turnovers per game, averaging 8.57.
